I was born and grew up in Coburg, Germany, and I’ve always had a passion for understanding the human mind and the world around us. After studying psychology, German literature, and philosophy in Munich, I moved to Berkeley, California, in 1988, where I continued my studies and received a Doctoral degree from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley.
I have been teaching philosophy at the California State University for 24 years, and I am also working as a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in the Bay Area of San Francisco. My journey has been fascinating, and I’m grateful for the connections and friendships I’ve made along the way.
